Hey,
I have a Myspace account and wrote an message to the former Australian Idol contestant Amali Ward about her life so I could put a post on my blog! Not really expecting for her to write back. But within four hours she replied and answered all of the questions I had asked her!

How old are you??

How many songs have you recorded??
In my entire life probably around 30, but at the moment I have three recorded that are going towards my album.
Where do you see your career going??
I’ve started recording songs for an album. My management is approaching labels in the next few months to discuss releasing it, so fingers crossed that a major release is where my career is going!
When did you realise you were a good singer??
I never really thought I was good in primary school, I just sang for fun and didn’t think about it. It was in high school that I started to really take it seriously, after I sang in an assembly and got a lot of compliments.
Do your family encourage and support your singing career??
Yes, they support me 100% – it’s great.
Who was your role model while growing up??
I loved Michael Jackson growing up, and in high school I was really into Alicia Keys.
When you were little what was your dream job??
When I was little I wanted to be a mathematician – hahaha… I entered math relays and got tuition outside of school! Very far from what I’m doing now!
