A positive digital footprint.
October 9, 2009
What do others see you as on the Internet?
A positive digital footprint is all about what others see you as if they search you on the Internet. An employer can search you on Facebook or Myspace aswell as a overall sites such as Google.
Some teenagers tend to drink underage and then upload photo’s to their Myspace or Facebook. If it is set as their display picture anyone who has these types of sites can then view this. If applying for a new job employers may search the internet to find out about you, if you have a blog such as myself the employer may look and see if you use spellchecking tools to double check your work before posting.
Does your blog give out a bad image or a positive image?
By that I mean does your blog have school related tasks on it? Do you keep updating your blog regularily or just leave it once it is no longer needed with school work? Does it have good spelling and grammer in posts?
All these are things to think about when applying for a job or even in general when people are looking you up.
